Michael Yost is a poet and essayist living in rural New Hampshire with his wife and children. When not writing, he spends his time in the garden, among his books, or engaged in more hands-on pursuits — fishing cold rivers, playing long chess matches, smoking his pipe, perfecting a martini, building model boats, and chasing heavy squat PRs.
